I've always wanted to try using peanut butter in my desserts. It usually replaces fat in the recipe, as it does in this one, so i decided to use the well loved combination of bananas and peanut butter. I found a recipe here. Apart from the baking time, it hardly takes time. It is just mixing up all the ingredients and baking them. I had some chocolate on hand, so I threw in some chopped chocolate.
Ingredients
- 1 Ripe Banana
- 1/4th cup Peanut Butter
- 1/4th cup Yogurt
- 2/3rd cups Wholewheat Flour
- 1/3rd cup Sugar
- Less than 1/4th tsp Baking Soda
- A pinch of salt
- 2-3 tbsp milk
- 1/4th cup Chopped Chocolate
Method
- With the help of a fork, mash the banana completely.
- To this add the peanut butter, yogurt, sugar and mix it all together.
- Mix the flour, baking soda and salt in a separate container.
- Add the flour mixture to the banana mixture.
- Add the chocolate and fold gently.
- Add the milk to form a batter.
- In an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius, bake these for about 10 to 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes clean.
- Enjoy!
