I'm usually on the lookout for easy snack recipes, which are quick to make, and are healthy. This spread fulfills not only these criteria, but is also incredibly tasty. You really have to try to believe. Spinach is available abundantly in winters, and I love to use it in different ways! This recipe calls for very few ingredients and is quite versatile! Here it goes:

- Ricotta cheese
- Finely cut Spinach
- Finely cut garlic
- Olive oil
- Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper
Method
- In a pan add the garlic. Add a little olive oil. Let them heat up together. This will ensure that the flavor of garlic spreads nicely in the oil.
- Add the finely cut spinach and cook till it wilts.
- To the ricotta cheese add the spinach and garlic mixture, salt and pepper and the Italian herbs.
- Spread it on the bread of your choice or even crackers.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- There are no strict rules as to the quantities of ingredients to be used. It is a matter of personal preference really, whether is is the quantity of spinach or the garlic. So i have omitted to mention them.
- Grated cheese can be added to the spread to enhance the taste.
- Paneer can be grated and blended in a mixer as an alternative to ricotta.
