Jeera biscuits have always had a special place in my heart! These bundles of sweet the and savoury goodness complete my cup of evening tea. I've wanted to make them since ages, and never did I know that they were so easy. They require very basic ingredients, usually to be found at home. And thus the recipe goes:
Ingredients
All purpose flour: 1 cup
Butter: 50 grams
Caster sugar: 30 grams
Salt: 1/2 tsp
Roasted and crushed jeera: 1 tsp
Milk: 2-3 tbsp
Butter: 50 grams
Caster sugar: 30 grams
Salt: 1/2 tsp
Roasted and crushed jeera: 1 tsp
Milk: 2-3 tbsp
Method
1. Beat the sugar and butter together till fluffy.
2. Add the flour, salt and jeera. With the help of some milk bring together the dough.
3. Roll the dough out. Cut cookies with a cookie cutter.
4. Line a baking tray with baking parchment. Bake the cookies in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for ten minutes.
5. Deliciousness is ready to be devoured.
